Advancing with MOREOB
Building on Success
After completing the three primary program
modules of the MOREOB Program participating hospitals are
provided a summative Report on Learning and Performance. This
report, developed with participant, Core Team and MOREOB
Program input does the following:
- Highlights the programs impact
- Identifies the teams successes
- Recognizes areas that require ongoing emphasis
- Makes recommendations regarding potential growth
opportunities for the team and administration to strengthen
the patient safety culture
New challenges that can be undertaken to
leverage momentum and utilize the team's acquired skills are
emphasized. Teams are encouraged to maintain their mutual
partnership with MOREOB through taking part in the
Advancing
with MOREOB Program by committing to a small number of
key areas of focus. This is guided by a needs assessment that
is included in the Report on Learning and Performance. It
ensures that Program tools and activities are aligned to
reflect the participant, unit, and organizational goals and
provides the basis for the team's Action Plan.
A Core Team training session,
facilitated by the MOREOB Program Instructors, is scheduled to
assist the team to develop and commit to a site-specific
Action Plan. A unique combination of the MOREOB tools,
strategies and resources are used to concentrate the team's
efforts in accomplishing the specific goals that are unique to
the team and their environment. This customized training
prepares the Core Team with a combination of knowledge, tools
and methodologies to accomplish their goals.
Teams will continue to have access to
up-to-date and comprehensive clinical content, the MOREOB online tools, dynamic measurement tools, annual evaluations,
reporting of results, and Regional Representative support.
A commitment to Advancing with MOREOB
can be made in single or multiple year agreements with
specific foci for each period. Strong Core Teams remain a
critical element to the success of the program. Advancing with
MOREOB pricing is determined by the duration, specific
focus and requirements of the unique, site-specific,
program that is designed and selected.
