"The Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada is one of North America’s oldest organizations devoted to the specialty of obstetrics and gynaecology. The Society is a non-profit professional organization and its national office is situated in Ottawa, Canada. Its membership includes over 3,000 obstetricians and gynaecologists as well as general practitioners, researchers, nurses, midwives and other health care providers involved in women’s healthcare."

The Risk Management and Patient Safety Institute (RM&PSI) is a national leader in clinical risk management practices and patient safety programs for healthcare institutions and providers. They are focused on clinical risk reduction, quality patient outcomes and education. The RM&PSI is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians, and is an accredited provider of nursing continuing education.
