Salus Global Corporation was formed in 2007 as a result of the common interest of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC) and the Healthcare Insurance Reciprocal of Canada (HIROC) in patient safety. Their investment provided the necessary resources to expand the MOREOB Program and begin the introduction of a broader hospital patient safety program.
HIROC and the SOGC are committed to improving patient safety performance and are proud to be partners in Salus Global Corporation.
Salus operates as a separate entity under a Board of Governors made up of representatives from the two parent organizations as well as other respected members from the healthcare field and the private sector.
In addition to the MOREOB program, Salus is dedicated to bringing a selection of Safety Performance Solutions to hospitals and healthcare workers across North America.
